Ever since I was young, I've loved collecting nail polish and painting my own nails. Growing up, I was the kid who didn't like playing outside for fear of messing up my manicure. To me, there was just nothing better than a fresh set of claws, so as I got older, I began frequenting the nail salon, where I'd routinely spend $70 to $80 for a full set of acrylic nails or a gel manicure. On average, this was an expense I incurred every three weeks—talk about an expensive habit!

Casimir is survived by his wife, Bonita (Zupon) Zajdel; brother, Alan Zajdel, sons: Jeffrey Zajdel and Philip Zajdel and wife, Sun-Hee; daughter, Michele Walker and husband, Eston; grandson, Cameron Zajdel; and granddaughter, Abigail Walker.

Mani Bootcamp’s goal is to help us non-professionals become bona fide pros after the first week and move our way up to more advanced skills in weeks two and three. Week one is basically manicuring 101, introducing the basics and practicing the “art of painting.” Week two will introduce nail accents, teaching us how to do ombré and apply sticker adornments without destroying the polish underneath. Finally, in week three, we’ll be ready to nail advanced-level designs like French manicures and half-moons. Check out the entire schedule here.

Or you could try accents of rose gold. This is one of our personal favourite ways to wear it, as it can really add light to your design. Whether that be abstract shapes, or curved lines, a touch of the pink stuff will really accentuate whatever you put it next to.
